The Shema Yisrael is the source of Jewish longevity, it links the generations of Jewish life. I live in an area with very few Jews but still manageto attend services. I rang the radio station and mentioned where the Shema is from in the Tanakh and explained the tephillin and mezuza etc. It is very good to use Jewish teachings but at least have the decency to give the Jewish origin. Hashem is spectacular!
